The Problem

Every woman is navigating her health completely blind.

Hormones govern every system that defines a woman's health.
Yet no product has ever given her a continuous window into them.

A woman seeking real answers about her health
Blood tests
Accurate — but invasive, expensive, and a snapshot.
Urine tests
Hard to sustain. Isolated moments, hard to calibrate over time.
Wearables & Cycle Apps
Infers from proxies and averages. No measured data. Fails for irregular cycles (>50% of cycles/women).

Invasive and accurate — or continuous and inferring. Until now, you had to choose.

The Solution

Real hormone data. Continuously.

FemSync is a discreet, 30-day wearable patch that continuously measures estradiol, progesterone, LH, and cortisol directly from tiny amounts of passive sweat. No needles, no effort, no gaps in the data.

Disposable Patch

Small, imperceptible patch worn anywhere on the body. Designed to disappear into daily life — waterproof, discreet, and replaced every 30 days.

Four Key Hormones

Estradiol, Progesterone, LH, and Cortisol are measured automatically from passive sweat produced 24/7, multiple times a day.

AI-Powered Insights

Data syncs to an app that builds her unique hormonal fingerprint — connecting symptoms, cycles, and patterns no snapshot test could ever reveal.

Full Hormonal Arc

Designed for the complete arc of a woman's hormonal life — from first period to fertility, perimenopause, and beyond.

The Product

Hardware that senses. Software that understands.

The patch collects the data no one has ever had. The FemSync app is where it becomes actionable.

Your hormones finally in context.

The FemSync app translates hormone data into AI-driven, personalized insights, synced with existing wearables, so women can connect symptoms to answers and act.

At scale, this becomes something larger: the world's first continuous, longitudinal hormone dataset.

How It Works

Revolutionary in what it sees.

Four steps. No clinical visits. No disruption to daily life.

Aptamers bind. The sensor fires.
Synthetic DNA receptors capture each hormone molecule and convert it into an electrical signal — continuously, in real time.
Estradiol Cortisol Signal
01

Apply the patch

Small, flexible, worn anywhere. Passive sweat is produced continuously — FemSync listens.

02

Aptamers bind to hormones

Synthetic DNA engineered to bind each hormone fires an electrical signal on contact. Twice daily. Automatically.

03

App builds the picture

AI maps hormone patterns over time — connecting what you feel to what your body is actually doing.

04

Replace. Deepen the model.

After 30 days, replace the patch. Every cycle adds to the individual model. Every cycle, the insights get sharper.

Impact

Women don't need to wait for medicine to change. FemSync puts them in control.

Track your actual cycle — no matter how irregular. Sleep, feel, and train better. Plan your family. Understand and manage your symptoms. Finally have real data your doctors can’t dismiss.

That's a game changer for the hundreds of millions of women struggling with PCOS, PMDD, endometriosis, perimenopause, metabolic disease, Alzheimer's, and autoimmunity. And it opens new ground for fertility tracking and the most accurate non-hormonal birth control tool ever built.

The data flywheel — and why it matters beyond the device

No continuous hormone dataset at scale has ever existed. Until now. FemSync's dataset can transform clinical trial design, enable predictive diagnostics, and train AI models that improve with every cycle. Licensing value extends to health systems, insurers, and pharma partners. Think Dexcom for glucose. FemSync is the same shift for biomolecules that govern the health of 2 billion women.

The Science

The physics said it was impossible.

Hormones circulate at concentrations so low (a trillionth of a gram per liter) that no wearable in history had ever detected them. Until now.

FemSync's patented aptamer-field-effect transistors use engineered DNA sequences that lock onto specific hormones and convert that contact into a readable electrical signal with a level of sensitivity existing sensors can't approach. The device reads from passive sweat on the skin surface. No needles, no lab, no delay.

In 2022, Dr. Andrews' team published proof in Science Advances: the world's first smartwatch to continuously measure cortisol from passive sweat in living humans. FemSync is that same platform, extended to the female reproductive hormone panel.

Technology

Validated in the lab.

Three core properties — all confirmed. This is not a concept. It is a working technology that has been validated in human subjects.

Sensitivity

Our sensors detect hormones at the picomolar level — the same concentrations found in passive sweat. Orders of magnitude beyond any existing wearable sensor.

Noninvasive

No needles. No blood. Hormones are measured passively from sweat produced continuously by the body — no action required from the wearer.

Continuous

Reversible aptamer sensors that monitor hormone levels across a full 30-day cycle — capturing the complete hormonal picture, not just a moment in time.

The Team

The scientist who built the technology is the founder.

The moat is the person. Dr. Andrews spent 20 years building the science that makes FemSync possible — and she is the founder.
